RAMS (reliability, avaibility, maintainbility, safety)

SME Environment carries out technical studies to verify RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability, safety), using recognized techniques such as FMECA and HAZOP, plus our own method, dubbed ARPI (the French initials for Industrial Process Risk Analysis).

We perform demonstration tests for pyrotechnic objects as well as critical complex systems, such as France’s strategic nuclear missiles and the boosters on Ariane 5.

  

We also carry out reliability demonstrations of pyrotechnic devices for our customers who design and manufacture pyromechanisms used in complex systems, including automobiles, launch vehicles, missiles, satellites and offshore platforms.

To demonstrate the reliability of “one-shot” devices requires special hardened test methodologies.
