Insensitive Munitions (IM)

SME Environment delivers innovative solutions for the development of insensitive munitions, using powerful techniques to predict the behavior of munitions subject to stress during accidents or malicious events.

These techniques have been widely covered in international conferences, particularly those organized by the Munitions Safety Information Analysis Center (MSIAC).


Code ABAQUS ®

SME Environment carries out all vulnerability tests in compliance with MURAT IPE No. 0260, STANAG 4439 and AOP 39, and draws up applications for MURAT one, two or three-star certifications (in France), based on all required technical demonstrations.

These demonstrations are based on our in-depth knowledge of energetic materials behavior, using proven techniques, small-scale testing and numerical simulation tools, validated if necessary by large-scale testing.

SME Environment helps its customers receive MURAT (French IM certification) labels quickly and cost-effectively.

We represent both SNPE Matériaux Energétiques and its subsidiary EURENCO France in the Insensitive Munitions European Manufacturers Group (IMEMG).
