Industrial risks
Static electricity risk management
Static electricity is a frequent cause of accidents or incidents, especially
in industries at risk of fire or explosion. These still poorly understood
phenomena depend on both environmental conditions (relative humidity) and
a large number of parameters (materials, surface condition, relative speed,
etc.).
SME Environment has developed an innovative, pragmatic methodology addressing
static electricity risks in industry, spanning operators, products, processes
and equipment, as well as packaging, floors, atmosphere, tools and procedures.

We carry out tests to characterize electrostatic properties.
Our special methodology is based on SNPE’s
decades of experience in industrial environments.
SME Environment offers the
MARESP training program to increase operator awareness of this risk.
